Jim Allsup Discusses Ticket To Work Program On 77 WABC
Last Updated: 9/8/2026
Jim Allsup, founder and CEO of Allsup Employment Services, appeared Sept. 6 on The Cats Roundtable with John Catsimatidis on 77 WABC to discuss the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) Ticket to Work Program.
During the interview, Allsup explained that many disability beneficiaries are unaware that the Ticket to Work Program exists. Established in 1999, the program is available to eligible Social Security disability beneficiaries who are interested in returning to work.
It provides work incentives and no-cost employment support designed to help ease the transition back into the workforce. However, survey data show only 33 percent of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) beneficiaries are aware of Ticket to Work.
